We wish you well, Mrs. Lizzet
And a hearty "thank you" to Principal Gayle Lizzet for serving Muir and Parent Council so well the last 10 years. You will be missed. Have a great retirement! And parents if you are as unnerve when it comes to changes as much I am, it may comfort you to know that Mr. Mango will stay on as our Assistant Principal. So our kids will still know what to expect at lunch!

I'm a future student teacher at Muir Middle School (for the 2009-2010 school year), and I'm really sad that Mrs. Lizzet will not be the principal next school year.
I did my pre-student teaching at Muir last fall, and Mrs. Lizzet was very helpful with setting me up to work with a teacher. During my pre-student teaching, I was very impressed with the overall atmosphere at Muir. I realize Mrs. Lizzet was a big part of that.
During my student teaching interview, I had the opportunity to get to know her a little bit more.
Once again, I would like to thank Mrs. Lizzet for all of her help and for letting me student teach at Muir.
She will be missed!
